A web-based device/room reservation system for research organisations.
Make a booking for a specific device in the calendar by clicking
on the starting time. You can then abjust it in the window in the lower left.
Duration of the reservation and log entry (if required for this object) are also entered there. Object-Admins can create lock-booking to mark periods of repair. All or a group of objects (like rooms, instrument) can be selected first and then the specific object. Make future reservations by changing month and/or year. You can not make or modify reservations in the past.
This menu defines which persons are system and/or object administrators. All objects a person is administrator for are also shown. Click the edit icon to grant administrator permission or add/delete permission to grant use rights for any object.
Create, edit or delete reserch groups and assign them to institutes.

Define for each object who has access to making reservations on it.

Define groups of objects (like rooms, instruments, ...) to organize them wisely.
Define a new object. This can be an instrument or a room for example. Specify the name, position, a website with more information about the object, remarks about the obect, how long the object can be booked at maximum, what group the object belongs to and whether a log-entry is required to make a booking.
Look at all reservations (in user mode all YOUR reservations) instead of using the calendar view.
List, add, edit and delete users. Define name, e-mail address, phone number, institue, research group and username/passwort for each. New user can create their own accounts. Object-Admins then grant them usage rights for objects or system admins make them object-admins or system-admins.
Generate chronological or aggregated (like a high-scrore table) reports for object booking usage during a week, month, quarter or year.
